Privacy Policy

This document explains, in plain language, what data this site processes, how cookies are used, and how children and adolescents are protected while browsing here.

1. Who operates this site

This site is maintained by Márcio Macedo, under the project name "Márcio Macedo IA".

Internal pending item A formal registered business name, tax ID and address have not yet been publicly defined for this project. No such information is presented here as if it existed; once available, it will be published in this section.

2. Educational purpose of the site

The site has an educational and informational purpose: explaining Artificial Intelligence in simple terms, offering tutorials, prompts, usage examples and, in the Education module, support materials for teachers, guardians and students. There is no commercial purpose of selling products, nor is data collected for advertising purposes.

3. What data is collected

  • A cookie preference (accept or decline analytics), stored in your own browser (localStorage), not on a server.
  • Only if you accept, aggregated statistical browsing data via Google Analytics (pages visited, session time, device type and approximate region). According to Google's current documentation, GA4 no longer records the full IP address by default, regardless of any configuration made by this site.
  • Standard technical data logged by any web server (such as IP address and request date/time), resulting from the normal operation of the internet.

4. What data is not requested

  • Full name, national ID number, phone number, address, or identification documents.
  • Student data, grades, report cards, or identifiable school records.
  • Photos, videos, or voice recordings of children and adolescents.
  • Passwords, payment data, or financial information (the site has no login, shopping cart, or billing).
Cookies

5. Essential and analytics cookies

The site uses essential cookies for its operation and, only with your authorization, analytics cookies to understand, in general terms, how pages are used. You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time; declining does not limit access to the content.

Technical details for each cookie, expiration periods, and browser instructions are described in the Cookie Policy.

Technical note: the site uses a basic, restrictive model — the Google Analytics library simply is not loaded before your authorization. Google's Consent Mode v2 (a mechanism that signals consent states such as analytics_storage to Google itself) has not been implemented. The two approaches are not technically equivalent; see details in the Cookie Policy.

6. Third-party tools and external Artificial Intelligence

Some pages on the site suggest prompts for use in external Artificial Intelligence tools (for example, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, among others). These tools are not operated by this site.

Notice about external AI tools

Prompts may be used in external Artificial Intelligence tools. Each service has its own terms of use, privacy policies, minimum ages, and ways of handling data. Do not submit personal information, identifiable photographs, documents, or student work containing student data. Teachers and guardians should check whether the tool is authorized by the school and appropriate for the student's age.

Beyond the AI tools mentioned in the prompts, the site uses third-party libraries loaded via CDN (Bootstrap and Bootstrap Icons, via jsDelivr) only for visual styling and icons, with no personal data collection known to this site.

8. No accounts and no storage of answers

  • The site does not require creating a student, teacher, or guardian account.
  • The site is static (no database) and does not store, on its own server, the answers, texts, or prompts a visitor may copy or type into external AI tools.
  • There is no file upload, public comments, or user profiles on this site.

9. Protection of children and adolescents

  • The site does not require a student account and does not request students' personal data.
  • Students must not submit, in any tool (internal or external), full name, address, phone number, documents, photos, voice recordings, or identifiable school data.
  • External Artificial Intelligence tools have their own terms of use and minimum ages, defined by each company, not by this site.
  • Use by minors should be guided by a teacher or legal guardian.
  • No content produced by a student should be published without authorization from the legal guardian.
  • Practical activities suggested in the Education module must be supervised in person by a teacher or legal guardian.
  • Content generated by Artificial Intelligence may contain errors; adults and students should verify information before using it.
  • Reports of risk situations identified while using the site should be directed to a responsible adult, the school, or appropriate protection channels.

Important notice: this site does not describe itself as "for children" or "intended exclusively for children." It is a general-content site about Artificial Intelligence, with an educational section designed for supervised school use. This specific classification still depends on legal analysis and is not stated here in a definitive way.

11. Retention period

Your cookie choice is saved in your browser until you change it or clear the site's data. Google Analytics cookie expiration periods are described, with their source indicated, in the Cookie Policy. The site does not keep, on its own server, a history of individual browsing.

12. Data sharing

When analytics cookies are accepted, aggregated statistical data is processed by Google (Google Analytics), acting as a data processor. No personalized advertising is enabled on this site, and no data is sold to third parties.

Google is a company with international infrastructure; data processed by Google Analytics may be processed on servers outside Brazil, according to Google's own international transfer mechanisms. This site does not manage and cannot guarantee the details of that processing, which is governed by Google's own terms and policies.

13. Security

Because this is a static site, with no login forms, uploads, or database, the risk surface for personal data is reduced. Even so, it is always recommended to access the site over a secure connection (HTTPS) once published in production.

14. Data subject rights

In accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados — LGPD), you have the right to request access, correction, anonymization, portability, or deletion of any personal data that may be processed, and you may revoke your consent to analytics cookies at any time.

Internal pending item A formal, verified channel for exercising these rights is not yet published (see the contact section). Until it exists, the most direct way to revoke analytics consent is to use the "Cookie preferences" control available on the site.

15. Contact

As stated on the Contact page (currently available in Portuguese only), the site does not yet offer a confirmed public email address or an individual support channel. No email address is published in this policy until that confirmation exists, to avoid publicizing a channel that is not actually monitored.

Updates

16. Updates to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site, applicable legislation, or future legal review. The last-updated date is always shown at the top of this page. We recommend consulting it periodically.
